Node Snapshot / Hard Reset

A hard reset is used to recover a Monad node when local state becomes invalid or the node is unable to synchronize.

Use cases

  • Node is stuck or not progressing

  • Corrupted local state

  • Recovery after long downtime

  • Required after incompatible upgrades

Important notes

  • All local blockchain data will be removed

  • Validator keys and keystores are not affected

  • Configuration files remain unchanged

  • Always back up keys and config before proceeding
